Through
music a child enters a world of beauty, expresses her inmost self,
tastes the joy of creating, widens his sympathies, develops her mind,
soothes and refines his spirit, and adds grace to her body.

About Linda Krueger's Music StudioMy
goal is to teach students of all ages the necessary skills to fulfill
their desire to make music, while fostering an appreciation and
understanding of all styles of music. My many years of experience will
help guide you through a path of discovery, fun and fulfillment.
I believe in developing the full potential in my students, while at the
same time listening to and respecting their goals for music studies.
Elementary
through high school students studying piano with me have the advantage
of participating in the Achievement In Music Program (AIM) developed by
the Illinois State Music Teachers Association. This exciting and
motivating program is designed to develop strong performance and
technical skills as well as a thorough understanding of musical theory.

since 1996, I have been very active in the local chapter of the West

In addition I direct a women's madrigal group called The
Elizabethans.
I spent many years directing a children's choir and co-directed a youth praise choir/band at Gary United
Methodist Church.
When not pursuing my many musical activities I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family.
